About The Author: Alisha L. Love is a proud wife, mother, entrepreneur, artist and author. Born and raised in Flint, Michigan, she grew her passion for youth and education. Love currently resides in Southfield, Michigan and serves as a dean of students in Detroit. Her career in the field of education started over ten years ago as a classroom teacher. Love is a graduate of Wayne State University, in Detroit, where she earned a B. A. in Elementary Education and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. Love believes that giving back and empowering others, especially youth, is not only her passion, but purpose. Love strives to continue to spread hope, joy and positive affirmations through all of her works.
