Once upon a time, a long, long time ago, in the deepest part of  Winter, there was a very lonely star. This lonely star appeared suddenly way, way, far away up in the eastern part of the sky.  Now up in the sky there are lots and lots and lots and lots of stars that live together in family groups called constellations or else spread our across the solar system in one long stream of stars called the Milky Way.  But this one star was all by itself. It had no mother or father; no sisters or brothers; no grandparents; no aunts or uncles or cousins; and no friends. So you can see why it was a very, very lonely star. Come along with me as we discover what happens to the lonely little star.
