“I do not like the dark,” whispers a teensy caterpillar with all sixteen of his legs trembling.
Bonk! Bonk! Boink! Boink!
“I wish I were a lightning bug,” he whispers to himself. “I do not like the dark. If I were a lightning bug, I could make my own light.”
Tired, hungry and still very much in the dark, the caterpillar curls up as tight as he can while a single tear slips down his cheek.
