New 2022 Book Release-Who’s Lost by R. F. Glasgow:

Overweight, over fifty, cynical, retired LAPD detective John Smith (Tony) Antonelli, PI, is increasingly dissatisfied with his mundane clientele and life itself. Enter a chance to bring order out of chaos into the lives of a 15-year-old girl enduring horrendous physical abuse, a 90-year-old woman smoking her way to death, and a young mother involved in a vicious Family Law Court custody case while desperately trying to save her two young daughters from their sexual predator father.

Tony’s personal life remains in shambles after the wartime death of his only child. His relationship with the child’s mother, his ex-wife, is messy. Unexpectedly he meets with a woman who offers him a second chance at happiness. But seemingly bent on his own destruction, increasingly frustrated with his inability to uncover evidence to support the mother’s allegations and believing two little girls are in constant danger; he abandons the system he swore to maintain and puts into motion actions that endanger the lives of the mother, the two little girls, his girlfriend and himself. Now he has to save them all.
