Pete The Brave by Kimberly S. Hoffman:

Can a click and flip turn an ordinary bug into a hero who saves the day? Pete is a happy, little click bug who is friendly and caring to all, even though some see him as a pest. In the other bugs’ eyes, Pete is small and unimportant, but his courage and ingenuity come through as he conceives a plan to save the very bugs who judge him. The other bugs come to realize that Little Pete deserves their respect and compassion. Pete the Brave is a fast moving, rhyming story that emphasizes the lessons of not judging and self-sacrifice.

About The Author: Kimberly Hoffman, children’s author, enjoys presenting programs related to her books at schools, libraries and civic groups on topics such as How to Write a Story, Overcoming Obstacles, Thinking Outside the Box Regarding Disabilities, as well as other subjects. Her favorite program includes dancing with the students. Kimberly grew up in Columbus, Indiana where trips to the library happened nearly every week of her childhood. She loves to read and thinks the library is a wonderful place to be. She knows that books can teach us, transport us to new realms, inspire us, cause us to cry, or make us fall over laughing. Kimberly loves to dance, although she had not taken a lesson until 15 years ago. She can often be found dancing around her house (and sometimes in public), creating choreography to whatever song is playing. She is married to Paul, who is also an author, and together they have six children, one grandchild, and many grand-fur and feather babies.
